Core Programs

VOLUNTEER MISSIONS
Mobilize, train, equip and deploy professional and lay persons in the service of humanity in vulnerable world areas of need, particularly through the vehicle of mission service trips and other organized events.

PROJECT SPONSORSHIP
Connect resources with need through individual, community and church sponsorships of specific mission programs in areas of world need, thus raising hope and realizing reverse mission.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & MICRO-ENTERPRISE
Facilitate community development and micro-enterprise projects in vulnerable world areas of need (e.g. village wells and community gardens).

RESOURCE CONNECTION
Provide people of means with ways to strategically leverage and channel their charitable contributions (financial, material and professional resources) to areas of need for the alleviation of suffering and poverty of people throughout the world.

GRANT AND FUNDING PROVISION
Provide cash donations or grants of assistance to community-based organizations in involved in such objectives.

HUMANITARIAN RELIEF
Provide humanitarian aid (GIK) to assist in relieving the poverty, sickness and suffering of people throughout the world, in particular food, medical and other gifts in kind, as well as direct volunteer services aimed at relieving hunger, sickness and economic hardship.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Offer peer training events in the areas of AIDS education and prevention, volunteer disaster response, community development and mental health promotion.

MEDIA CAMPAIGNS
Educate the public concerning the social, spiritual, political, economic and other systemic problems that challenge disadvantaged and vulnerable people through print media, public appearances, and other mass media.

Good Samaritan Village Wells
Install 10 village wells in Northern Malawi.
HopeHomes
Provide food and nutritional care for 80 AIDS orphans and abandoned children in the Mzuzu UMC HopeHomes in Malawi.
Hope Scholarships
Provide “Hope Scholarships” to 20 students attending vocational school and 9 students attending secondary school in Mzuzu.
Children of Chernobyl
Providing medical relief and supplies for Belarusian people still suffering the effects of Chernobyl's nuclear disaster.
Special Projects
Care for two young daughters of a mother who died of AIDS in 2008.
